Orange walk District

This activity was based on learn how to find GIS data and to create a map. Firstly, a list of websites was provided to use to collect data that we could use to make our maps. Hence, feature like roads, settlements, watershed and any other feature you wanted to display was included. As we know Belize is one of the smallest country consisting of six district. This map illustrate only Orange walk district with their main roads, settlement, rivers and watersheds. I collected all data and display them in the arc map but only focus on Orange walk district.  Therefore, for each layer that was added, I had to clip off any data that was outside of Orange walk boundaries. Moreover, symbology was added by giving a district symbols to every types of settlement. The rivers, roads, settlement and watershed was showed in the map. Features such as scale bar, text, author name, title, north arrow and legend was inserted to the map. And finally this activity was saved and exported to JPEG.
